We would love the world to be a better place because of Buck & Baa, and we know that responsible business can help us get there.

We love giving back to our community, we often take part in fundraising for small charities and want Buck & Baa to help make a difference in the world.

    Kids Can

We cannot build the future of Buck & Baa without helping our most vulnerable, build their futures.

Buck & Baa is the proud supporter of 10 children through the KidsCan Major Donor Programme.

Over 1 in 4 New Zealand children are living without the basics.

"KidsCan exists to meet the physical and nutritional needs of Kiwi kids less fortunate than others. It’s our mission to provide food, clothing and basic healthcare in schools to enable disadvantaged children to be more engaged in their education and reach their full potential."

    Trees That Count

We only have one planet and it's time we stood up and protected it. We have recently linked up with Trees That Count:

Buck & Baa will be funding a minimum of 50 trees per month - to give back to our planet. With your help in supporting Buck & Baa, we will be able to fund even more trees and that is so exciting.

"We’re building a movement to help New Zealanders to plant millions more native trees. It’s about planting the trees that count – for restoring and enhancing our environment, for biodiversity, for climate change.

Our native trees not only sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere but they provide habitat for our native birds, better water quality in our streams, and more beautiful places for future generations to explore".

    I Got Your Backpack

In 2019 and 2020 Buck and Baa has donated three large boxes of donated baby clothes to www.igotyourbackpack.org.nz  We will continue to support this organisation as they are providing a little bit of sunshine in a tough situation.

"I Got Your Back Pack (IGYBP) is a non-profit initiative and registered NZ charity that was established in 2016, in support of Women’s Refuge.  We now also partner with both Shine and Shakti safehouses and support other independent shelters on a case-by-case basis.

IGYBP provides emergency care packs filled with practical and essential items to the most critical cases of women and children (survivors of domestic violence) going through refuges nationwide,  We also provide men’s and age specific babies packs."

Buck & Baa clothing is placed in the baby packs and we are proud that families have something special to dress their baby in when they are going through a difficult time in their lives.

    The Good Fund

In June 2019 we donated three boxes of donated Buck & Baa clothing to The Good Funds' "Fill-a-Bag" fundraising event. The Good Fund is New Zealand based organisation who are helping to eliminate period poverty in NZ.

The Fill-a-Bag event which was held across NZ in several different locations raised over $40,000!

    Salvation Army / Food Bank

We held a pop up shop last month and we thought it would be an amazing idea to get all our lovely mama-shoppers to donate a non perishable food item or sanitary product as an entry fee - which we donated to the food bank. We filled a whopping FIVE large boxes with high quality, thoughtful food items and hygiene products and the Salvation Army was incredibly thankful.

So thank you to all the ladies that came to our pop up shop, you've helped feed our local families in need.
